Barbara's Cream Cheese Icing

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter/margarine, softened
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box powdered sugar


After cream cheese and butter has softened, mix together well. Add vanilla & mix. Add the powdered suger and beat until smooth. Ice the cooled carrot cake and then keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
